Remove Server

Remove Server

Occasionally, the server components of STX get installed on computers that are NOT the Server computer. Only the Server computer should have the server components installed.

You will need to perform this process on each computer that is not the Server, but that has the server components installed on it.  Such a situation could have occurred by accident, or it could have been used as a temporary Server at one time. If you have switched to a new Server computer, you will need to perform this process on the computer that was the original Server computer.

Verify that you will not need to use this computer as the Server. The Server computer "houses" the data, so if this computer is indeed not the Server, you may proceed.
