Restore via Restore Tool

You must be logged in to Mac OS X as an Admin user to perform the restore.
  1. Download the backup file to the Desktop on the STX Server computer. 
  2. Double-click the downloaded file to expand the compressed file.
  3. Double-click the expanded file to begin the data restore process.
      1. Click OK to restore the database. 
      2. Click Cancel to leave the database untouched.
  4. When the file verification succeeds, click Restore. 
    1. Click Restore to restore the database. 
    2. Click Cancel to leave the database untouched.
  5. Type the OS X administrator name and password. 
  6. Click OK.
    1. Status of the data restore will appear.
    2. Restored will appear once the data restore is complete. Do NOT click the Restore button.
  7. Go to the STXRestore menu and select the Quit STXRestore option.
